I came here with my husband and 2 babies for almost a week, due to hurricane beryl and having no electricity in Houston. I must say, I really enjoyed it. It's so quiet and peaceful. The open view of the beautiful sky every night really made my trip something special. My kids played in the mud out there almost everyday. The staff was really nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and no bugs, which I was surprised because of how reasonable the price is for the room with 2 queen beds. I just really loved it here and didn't want to go home. Only down side was that the pool was being worked on the whole time I was here and they don't serve breakfast besides cereal. But overall so pleased. I hope I visit again soon.
The front desk was fast and friendly checking me in. The room had many common problems with maintenance at this price point in a small town. But overall the place is clean and comfortable. I loved that my room was already cold!! Great after working in the Texas sun all day. Good value for “passing through”
